Panels

Panels bring train driving and accessory control together on a visual signal-box style diagram of your layout.

Panels are available on tablet and desktop devices.

1. Select a panel

On the panels screen, choose the panel you want to operate.

2. Adjust zoom and workspace

Use the zoom controls at the bottom-left to increase or decrease panel diagram size. This helps you balance layout visibility against space for floating train, macro, and accessory controls.

3. Add train and macro controllers

From the top-right controls, add train control panels and macros to the current panel view.

Train controllers work exactly like the train screen controls. You can drag them to position them where you need them.

4. Accessory and macro controller behavior

Macro and accessory controllers can be resized, moved, and pinned.

Pinning is what saves controller placement between sessions. A pinned controller reappears in the same position next time you open that panel on the same device and browser.

5. Open accessory controls from the diagram

You can open accessory controllers directly from the panel diagram: click an element such as a point or signal, and if an accessory is associated with it, the accessory controller appears temporarily for interaction.

You can also pin, drag, and resize these accessory controllers. A dotted line links each controller to its accessory so it is clear which layout element it controls.
